In current conditions obstetric-gynecological, pediatric and pediatric surgical services have an important task to implement main principles of national policy on health promotion of women and children. By means of modern technologies we might significantly influence demographic challenges and improve quality of medical care for women and children fulfilling indicators.
Analysis of perinatal mortality nowadays demonstrates that we lack proactive steps for early prevention of main causes of perinatal mortality, only effective way for success is timely and correct risk assessment, correct definition of vector for diagnostic and medical procedures, definition of location and method of labour. Effective regionalization of obstetric and perinatal care, management of pregnant women with extragenital complications in profile medical facilities. Such a strategy is defined in most of european countries, and it is necessary to become a part of unified international practice.
Within the scientific program of the conference we have discussed wide spectrum of issues on perinatal care, reproductive health and other socially significant aspects of health such as oncology, metabolic disorders in children, neuro-muscular pathology, autoimmune statuses, and problems of surgery, urology, orthopedics of child age, etc.
