Coordination Center

 Republican Center for Coordination of Implementation of Effective Perinatal Care (RCCIEPC) was found by order of Minister of health dated 06 May 2013, №267 «About establishment of republican centers for coordination of implementation of effective perinatal care and integrated management of children's diseases»

RCCIEPC was organized on basis of NRCMCH, JSC.

RCCIEPC is led by republican coordinator Dr Kanat Sukhanberdiyev.

The goal of RCCIEPC is an implementation of effective perinatal care (further - EPC) for reduction of maternal and infant mortality in the country.

Tasks of RCCIEPC:

1) to provide trainings on EPC for specialists of medical facilities, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient women, puerperant women and children of age up to 1 year old;

2) to conduct a monitoring of theoretical and practical level of training on EPC for specialists of medical organizations, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient and puerperant women, and children of age up to 1 year old;

3) to carry out consulting and methodical assistance on EPC to medical organizations, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient women, parturient and puerperant women, and children of age up to 1 year old.

Main functions of RCCIEPC are:

1) analysis of a status on maternal and infant mortality, obstetric critical cases in the country, taking into account implementation of EPC;

2) implementation EPC and other recommendations of World Health Organization in sphere of mother and child health in the medical facilities, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient and puerperant women, and children of age up to 1 year old;

3) coordination of work of the regional educational centers on continuous professional development of employees of medical organizations, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient and puerperant women, and children of age up to 1 year old;

4) training of specialists of medical organizations, providing medical services for pregnant women, parturient and puerperant women, and children of age up to 1 year old;

5) coordination of interaction of regional educational centers with medical facilities of various profiles in order to ensure efficient use of EPC with a view of reduction of maternal mortality;

6) coordination of interaction of regional educational centers with centers of healthy lifestyle problems formation of republican and regional levels in population education on EPC, safe motherhood, breastfeeding, etc.
