Child development center

One of the actual problems of children's neurology is diagnostics and treatment of nervous system in the early period. In structure of children's disability of 50% make diseases of nervous system, 70 – 80% from them have sources in the perinatal period.

In National scientific center of motherhood and the childhood in the 4th quarter 2014 the Child development Center which purpose is drawing up the individual development plan of the child according to defeat of the central nervous system, early diagnosis of diseases of nervous system and prevention of disability opened. Feature of the Child development Center consists in an expert assessment of diseases of nervous system at children neurologists with the highest category and carrying out multidisciplinary consultations (the geneticist, the endocrinologist, the psychiatrist). This work is carried out in coordination with the chief non-staff children's neurologist of MZSR RK - to Dr Altynshash Jaxsybayeva who is also the participant of these consultations.

In the center of development of the child, it is carried out:

• Diagnosis of epilepsy

• Identification of the reasons of a delay of psychomotor development

• Diagnosis of hereditary diseases of nervous system

• Early diagnostics of autism

• Early diagnosis of a children's cerebral palsy (till 1 year)

• Diagnostics and treatment of rare forms of diseases of nervous system

• Diagnostics and therapy of behavioural frustration of the child

• Diagnostics and treatments of defeat of nervous system at various exchange violations

Treatment is carried out as on an outpatient basis, and permanently. Diagnosis of above-mentioned diseases is carried out by means of clinical examination, carrying out neuropsychological testing, video monitoring EEG (various duration), an electromyography (EMG), an elektroneyromiografiya (ENMG), a polisomnografiya. Various methods of visualization help to define injury of a head and spinal cord – a magnetic and resonant tomography, a computer tomography, a neyrosonografiya. For diagnostics of these states in the center there is a molecular and genetic and biochemical laboratory.
